Contenders: Brazil Argentia Portugal Spain Italy England

Sleepers: USA Cameroon Nigeria (yea Im callin my shot on that one….watch for Obafemi Martins) Ivory Coast Uruguay Paraguay

No Shot: Slovenia Algeria South Africa Greece

Thoughts????

i think Spain will win the world cup..if casillas plays like the way he played in euro2008, then they will surely win..

Brazil and Spain are the big favorites
Argentina looks weak now, but that could change, they got the players to do.
Never count out Germany, Holland, Italy

Hope England will win.

I think Cameroon will be the shocker of this tournament. But the rest I agree with you

Contenders: Brasil (always a favorite), Spain (most dominant right now, best technique, best players), Germany (always a favorite as well), England (looking strong with Capello, very dominant in Qualifiers).

Between Contenders and sleepers: Netherlands (killer offense, great game but always losing in the end, Argentina (Maybe could wake up), Italy (Old team, not in a very good moment but could wake up as well), Portugal (Always losing in the end, also could wake up), France (putting it here just because of history, but they’ve been playing shit the last 3 years).

Sleepers: Ivory Coast (Getting at least to the Quarter finals but not winning the cup, it’s history is mediocre, but take a look at the starting line-up and you’ll shit your pants: Arthur Boka, Drogba, Eboue, Kalou, Kone, Yaya Toure, Kolo Toure, etc. It will be the sleeper by excellence, but not winning the championship).
Serbia (No credit is given to them, could give a good surprise, but getting to quarter finals at best).

No shot: Mexico (My team, I dream about the championship, but we’re getting to quarter finals at best; not a sleeper because we are not as under rated as Ivory Coast or Serbia).
United States and Ghana (Same situation as Mexico, could do a decent tournament, could get a bit far if they’re lucky and get an easy group, same as Mexico).

All others.

Contenders: Brazil, Italiy, England, Germany, and Spain

Sleepers: Portugal, Argentina, USA

No shot: South Africa, Japan, Korea

Top Contenders : Brazil, Spain, England

2nd option : Germany(good mix of youth & experience) & Argentina(only if Maradona is given lesser control over the team)

Sleepers( you mean ‘Dark Horse’ ?) :Chile, Serbia, Denmark, Slovakia,Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Nigeria

Teams interest me(for my own resons): N Korea(like to see how they play in their 2nd WC), Slovenia(no renowned club-level players, but still defeated Russia ! Interesting !) , Algeria(rather curiosity. I liked Egypt in Confed Cup; want to see how the team who defeated them play)

No Shots : don’t want to put any team in this section; becoz WC always brings surprises with it…..he he .
